Synopsis
How does a man, raised between Islam and Marxism, survive exile while a revolution led by women is unfolding in his homeland? Why does an Argentine woman fall in love with a utopia on the other side of the world and give her life for it?
Extranjero tells the story of a Kurdish man and an Argentine woman, crossed by utopias, loneliness, and death, as they debate traveling to the liberated territories of Rojava, where a revolution is developing that is on the verge of being exterminated.
